Founded in 2018 Mud and Char, Caffeine & Fare is the cultivation of our love of coffee, tea and our community. We created a boutique local cafe that is bright and welcoming. The place for the best coffee, tea and a quick bite to eat. We crafted our menu with the best local products and our own seasonal creations.
We are family owned and operated. Our family has been a part of the Downers Grove community for over sixty years. We love our neighbors and supporting local business is important to us. We find the best local products from around Chicagoland and bring our favorites back to the cafe.
